EarthSave New York City Announces the Taste Of Health, a healthy food festival.

WHEN: Saturday, June 28, 2003 from 10am - 9pm

WHERE: Lincoln Center in Damrosch Park and the Guggenheim Bandshell, bordering on Amsterdam Ave. and West 62nd Street in Manhattan.

PRICE: ADMISSION IS FREE

NEW YORK, NY- EarthSave announces its second annual Taste Of Health event for New York City.

Taste of Health plans to be a great event with musicians; authors; speakers; chefs; and more. Participants will be offered the opportunity to sample great healthy foods from many local restaurants and shops, participate in empowering lectures and discussions, learn to prepare healthy meals, shop for eco-friendly foods and other environmental products, listen to great music, stock up on books and other information, meet like-minded individuals, and just have a fun-filled and fulfilling day.

* Marion Nestle (author of Food Politics and Safe Food)
* Wayne Pacelle (The Humane Society): "Animal Rights and Politcial Action"
* Gary Yourofsky: "Ethical Food Choices"
* Josephine Bellacomo: "Shedding Pounds, Gaining Success and Creating Personal Change."
* Dr. Barbara Ellicott: "Diet & Exercise for the prevention and/or reversal of a multitude of conditions and diseases."

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you would like to volunteer for the day of the event, please email me back letting me know what times you are available and what you are interested in helping out with. Here's what we need:

**8am-10am Set-up (help set up tables, chairs, canopies and fill goodie bags)

**10am-7pm Choose a festival activity area: Food Demos, Kids Activities, Presentations, Soy Ice Cream scooper, EarthSave welcome booth, Greeter (give out goodie bags), Counter (count the people as they enter), general runner for miscellaneous

**7pm-10pm Break-down and clean up, while listening to live music

If you can help distribute postcards, please tell me how many you can manage and where to send them.
